The blue hour is the period shortly after sunset or shortly before sunrise during which the sky radiates a bright blue color. The period generally lasts about 10-20 minutes. During this period, city lights make ambient make conditions ideal for photography and it is worthwhile to go out and pursue nice images.

Red Lights At The Crossing

All lights on red. A weird feeling to have all directions hold and everyone waiting for each other! The driver and the men on the right were minding their own business, just standing/sitting still. The two ladies on the left were talking,to each other, but standing still. We wonder what they are talking about: are they reviewing a diner experience, or have they been shopping in the city, or about something else? The scene was captured along the Verlengde Hereweg, Groningen.

Just outside Groningen, along the A7 freeway, a design bus-stop serves a public traffic hub for commuters and visitors to the city of Groningen. A bus driver is waiting for the battery of his vehicle to charge. A passenger is walking towards the bus for boarding.
