Recently, together with a few friends of the photo club, we went out in mid-town Groningen to engage in street photography. I modified my strategy to capture interesting street scenes form wandering around, I focus on one location for a longer period of time and by doing so, blend into the surroundings like a fly on the wall. We started a7pm and in this time of the year (2nd half of august), sunlight is becoming already soft.
The scenes that I captured varied from a couple searching on a phone for information, people passing each other anonymously without interaction not seeing the others, a homeless man sleeping on a bench, to a scene in front of a food corner when to women said goodbye. Moreover, I had a nice interaction with a group of young boys who were chilling out that resulted in a few nice street portraits.
